Adopt Rescue Cats, Inc. (ARC) is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and finding homes for abandoned cats and kittens from feral colonies, the community, and euthanizing shelters in the greater Richmond, Virginia area and surrounding rural counties. Beyond rescue and adoption, ARC places a strong emphasis on educating the public about domestic animal welfare and overpopulation prevention, and it offers resources to caregivers who need assistance for various reasons.
