Oasis for Animals is a 501(c)(3) no-kill rescue organization based in Langley, Washington, serving Whidbey Island and neighboring areas. Operating through a dedicated network of foster homes, the organization focuses on rescuing cats and kittens from euthanasia, providing low-cost spay/neuter clinic transport, running active Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) initiatives, and placing working barn cats.
$90 for adult cats without a microchip, $95 for adult cats with a microchip, $95 for kittens
All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, and tested for feline leukemia or combo-tested for leukemia and FIV prior to adoption. The organization does not ship animals to adoptive homes.
Prospective adopters can view available animals via their Petfinder site and submit an online cat adoption application or call (360) 321-4142. Oasis hosts weekend off-site adoption events on the mainland where cats can be adopted directly.
When possible, Oasis accepts surrenders from individuals and tames feral kittens for adoption, prioritizing animals at risk of euthanasia. However, stray animals must be taken to local animal shelters to allow reuniting with owners, and general re-homing resources are referred to PAWS.
