Founded by Amanda Giese and based in Washougal, Washington, Panda Paws Rescue is a 501(c)(3) in-home animal rescue specializing in major medical, special needs, and hospice cases. While the majority of their intakes are dogs, they occasionally rescue felines and provide specialized rehabilitation before matching them into adoptive homes across the United States and Canada.
Flat $250 adoption donation for any and all animals adopted
All animals are required to be spayed or neutered unless medically deemed unfit for surgery due to life-threatening risks. Completed applications, home checks, and reference checks are required.
Interested adopters must submit a thorough online application. Once approved, the rescue conducts a home check (available across all 50 US states and Canada via technology) and reference checks, followed by an arranged meet-and-greet with the animal.
Panda Paws Rescue does not accept stray animals and directs finders to local municipal shelters holding county contracts. They operate on low volume focused on major medical and hospice cases.
