Pawsitive Animal Impact Rescue (PAIR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Port Angeles, Washington, dedicated to reducing pet overpopulation and homelessness. They shelter and rehome homeless cats and dogs while offering low-cost sterilization, vaccination, and microchipping clinics for low-income pet owners. The organization is also working to expand access to affordable veterinary care across remote, high-poverty areas through a mobile clinic initiative.
Interested adopters can begin the process by filling out PAIR's cat application form online or by contacting the organization directly via email or phone.
Cat neuters cost $60 and cat spays cost $125. In addition, low-income guardians who qualify with proof of assistance (such as SNAP, SSI, SSDI, or TANF) can receive a 50% subsidy on the surgery cost.
PAIR offers Rabies vaccines ($10), FVRCP/FELV vaccines ($25), microchips, and flea and worm treatments (with prices varying based on size) for pets altered on clinic days.
Cats must not have food after midnight before surgery. They must arrive in a well-secured carrier containing a towel and labeled with your name, phone number, and pet's name. Do not put food or water inside the carrier. Check-in is commonly between 8:00 AM and 8:45 AM.
To get on the waiting list, email pair.clallam@gmail.com with your full name, phone number, and pet information (species, breed, weight, age, and sex). When space is available, a coordinator will provide a Clinic HQ registration link.
