Cats and kittens must be adopted into indoor-only homes to protect local bird life. PAWS reserves the right to determine suitable homes for all animals.
Interested adopters should contact PAWS to be placed on a waiting list, as kittens arrive unpredictably (most frequently between April and October). Kittens are trapped after weaning, spayed or neutered, and given their first vaccinations before being adopted out.
Foster parents must have prior experience caring for cats, provide an indoor-only environment with secure window screens, and have resident pets up to date on vaccinations. Fosters must also be able to provide an isolated non-carpeted room (such as a bathroom or laundry room) during the initial quarantine period.
