Meow Cat Rescue WV, based in Charleston, West Virginia, works to reduce cat overpopulation through accessible community spay and neuter services. As of May 2023, the organization's adoption fee is $80 per cat or kitten. An approved application is required to set up an appointment to meet available cats and kittens outside of scheduled adoption events, and adopters should expect some management on their part to facilitate positive introductions between a new cat and existing pets. The organization also provides information for anyone who needs to surrender a pet, and accepts donations through its website.
