Happy Endings is a nonprofit 501(c)(3), no-kill organization based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, run solely by volunteers who have been saving lives since 1994. Its mission is to find permanent homes for unwanted, stray, abused, or feral animals that are brought to the shelter or rescued from the street. The shelter is open Thursday from 6 to 9 PM and Saturday from 11 AM to 4 PM, and closed the rest of the week. Adopters need landlord approval and must abide by any pet restrictions on their lease. Prospective adopters can apply online, and the shelter also welcomes wishlist donations and foster volunteers.
