Shur Rescue is a privately owned, no-kill cat rescue and sanctuary based in Cecil, Wisconsin, serving Shawano County and surrounding communities. Dedicated exclusively to the welfare of both feral and domesticated felines, the organization provides medical rehabilitation, shelter, surrender and rehoming services, adoption placement, and trap-neuter-return (TNR) assistance.
$100 adoption fee covering vaccinations, microchips, and spay/neuter surgery
Applicants must submit an online application, provide three personal references (only one may be a relative), schedule an interview, and create a permanent, loving home environment.
1. Complete an online adoption application with personal references. 2. Browse the Cat Spotlight to choose a cat or kitten. 3. Schedule and complete an adoption interview with the team. 4. Visit the shelter by appointment to meet the cats. 5. Finalize paperwork, pay the adoption fee, and receive veterinary and medical records (same-day adoption available if requirements are met).
Cat surrendering and rehoming services are offered by appointment only; walk-ins are not accepted. The shelter admits surrendered, stray, abandoned, and injured cats and kittens.
