Valley Cats Cat & Kitten Rescue was founded in July 2014 by Wendy Zolkowski, Emily Anderson, and Carlyn Cooley to fill the need for a foster-based cat and kitten rescue in Neenah, Wisconsin that could help other rescues and humane societies when they were full beyond capacity or needed assistance with special-needs cases requiring intense, one-to-one attention. Valley Cats is run entirely by a small group of passionate, dedicated volunteers, and its cats and kittens are cared for in loving volunteer foster homes, guided by a philosophy of compassion, kindness, empathy, and love.
