BBHQ Midweek News: Wind, Dahlias, and Pet Adventures
Bionic Basil’s Blog reports a windy weekend that left a bottlebrush shrub knocked over and a brief rain that the team didn’t enjoy.
The garden saw a surprising late bloom of dahlias, whose magenta pinky tones flash bright yellow-gold, arriving in September after a scorching summer setback.
Inside the house, Fudge enjoyed a bath while Melvyn stayed flat out near the woodburner. Smooch was found in a basket after a damp walk in the garden, and Pandora spent the day in the kitchen, avoiding the more rambunctious pets.
A photo of the full moon with a halo was shared, and the team looks forward to more updates and a new book coming Friday.
