Stray Cat Luna Finds New Friend in Wild Rabbit
Luna, once a frightened stray who hid in the woods, slowly learned to trust people after Bobby began leaving food outside and after forming a bond with another cat named Willie. Willie’s companionship helped Luna feel confident enough to make Bobby’s yard her home. Two months after Willie died, a little brown rabbit named Henry appeared in the yard. Unlike what Bobby feared, Luna greeted Henry with gentle rubs, affectionate grooming, and quiet moments curled together. The two animals also groom each other and follow one another around the yard. Henry sometimes disappears for days but always returns to greet Luna. Their unexpected friendship offers a reminder of how bonds can develop between unlikely companions.
