Fees, requirements & process

From $100

Cats $100; kittens $125

Requirements

The fee covers spay or neuter surgery, microchip, deworming, rabies vaccination, rhinotracheitis and calici-panleukopenia and feline leukemia vaccinations, FeLV and FIV testing, and a care packet. Kittens too young for a rabies shot go home with a voucher redeemable at a local Homer veterinary clinic.

How it works

Adoption is not first come, first served. Applications can take several days to process, and the shelter asks that your whole household visit the animal to make sure it is the right fit.
