Founded in June 2022, Coming Back Home Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, foster-based rescue based in Willoughby, Ohio, serving Northeast Ohio and assisting nationally. Dedicated to reducing euthanasia rates, the organization cares for dogs, cats, and other companion animals through foster placement, basic training, and medical care, while also actively providing TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) services for feral felines in the community.

Requirements

Completion of application, happy visit, home check, and signed adoption agreement. Applicants must demonstrate ability to meet pet-specific routines and care guidelines.

How it works

1. Fill out an adoption application. 2. Happy Visit (conducted at the rescue, applicant's home, or a neutral location). 3. House Visit (handled virtually, during a foster-to-adopt trial, or upon adoption). 4. Sign the Adoption Agreement.
