The Healthy Hearts and Paws Project is a 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization serving the Mahoning Valley and Warren, OH area. Dedicated to transforming lives one paw at a time, the shelter provides rescue, rehabilitation, vital medical care, foster placement, and adoption services for medical-needs dogs, cats, and kittens. Kittens: $100; Adult Cats (1 year and up): $75; Senior Cats (8 years or older): $50
Applicants must be 21 years of age or older, present identification showing their current address, have the knowledge and consent of their landlord (including adult children living with parents), and be able and willing to spend the time necessary to provide proper care, training, medical treatment, and adoption exposure.
Prospective adopters must submit a completed adoption application online or bring a printed copy to the shelter. After review, approved applicants can schedule a meet-and-greet with the adoptable pets.
