Northeast Ohio SPCA (Northeast Ohio Humane Association) is a private, no-kill non-profit animal shelter founded in 2004 and based in Parma, Ohio. The organization provides a safe haven for abandoned, homeless, and adoptable pets, participating in relocation and transport programs as well as local intakes to eliminate euthanasia of healthy animals.
Cats: $75-$100, Kittens: $100-$150
Completion and signing of adoption documents in person at the shelter; payment made by cash or card (no checks accepted).
Adoptions operate strictly on a first-come, first-served walk-in basis with no appointments necessary. Visitors meet animals in a dedicated meet-and-greet area, fill out the adoption application on-site, and sign all documentation at the time of adoption. Payment is accepted via cash or card.
The organization takes in animals from the local community when they can no longer be cared for by their owners, as well as rescuing pets from overcrowded shelters through transport and relocation programs.
