Salsa's Legacy Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue organization based in Van Wert, Ohio, dedicated to saving abandoned, neglected, and homeless animals. Through compassionate foster placement, veterinary care, and adoption programs, the rescue rehabilitates animals and matches them with loving permanent families. They also support feline welfare through trap-neuter-return (TNR) initiatives and community assistance.

Adopters submit an adoption form to become approved, after which they are matched with a companion animal and complete the adoption process.
New cat intakes and TNR/spay-neuter assistance are temporarily paused due to the rescue operating at capacity.
