Incorporated in 1994, Save Our Strays Inc is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing stray cats and kittens throughout Pinellas County, Florida. $150 standard adoption fee (includes spay/neuter, microchip, deworming, flea treatment, and age-appropriate vaccinations)
Applicants must complete an adoption application providing their address, home and work phone numbers, driver's license number, and a photo ID (a copy is attached to the contract). Adopters must agree to keep the cat strictly indoors, and renters must supply proof that pets are allowed.
Prospective adopters must submit an online adoption application. Once reviewed, the team contacts the applicant to discuss next steps and arrange a meet-and-greet either by appointment at Cat Haven or at Saturday PetSmart adoption events before finalizing adoption paperwork.
