Humane Education and Animal Rescue of Texas (ART) is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) foster-based animal rescue based in Dallas, Texas. Operating without a physical shelter, the organization rescues companion animals including cats and dogs, caring for them in volunteer foster homes until permanent placement. Rescued cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, parasite-tested, and tested for FeLV and FIV prior to adoption.

Adopters must be at least 21 years of age, provide a valid driver's license and address, complete an application and contract, and undergo a phone interview, home visit, and vet check.
Applicants submit an online adoption application. The screening process includes a phone interview, a home visit, and a veterinary check to ensure the best lifelong match between the animal and adopter.
