The Chris Griffey Memorial Feline Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in The Plains, Virginia, dedicated to critical feline neonate and pediatric cases. It was co-founded by Ellen, a Licensed Veterinary Technician who has worked exclusively with feline patients since 2002, and Sophie, a Licensed Veterinary Technician since 2019 who met Ellen while working at NOVA Cat Clinic in 2015. Sophie also works for the Georgia Aquarium and sits on the executive board of the Georgia Veterinary Technician and Veterinary Association, and in 2023 she joined Ellen and Dr. Neuman on a trip to Otavalo, Ecuador with Dogs of Otavalo. The foundation accepts adoption and foster applications through its website, and donations help support its work with medically vulnerable kittens.
