Friends of Loudoun County Animal Services (FLCAS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to raising supplemental funds and providing support for the animals and programs of Loudoun County Animal Services in Virginia. In partnership with the shelter, they help fund vital medical care, enrichment, and foster programs for cats, kittens, and other shelter pets. Their efforts support feline adoptions and foster care across Loudoun County.
Adopters are encouraged to arrive by 5:00 p.m. to allow adequate time for adoption counseling and paperwork before the 5:30 p.m. cutoff.
Adoptions take place at the Loudoun County Animal Services facility in Leesburg, VA. Adoption hours are Monday through Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with visitors encouraged to arrive by 5:00 p.m. to complete adoption counseling and paperwork. Pet owners seeking to rehome pets are also directed to Home-to-Home.
Pet owners seeking to rehome a pet are directed to list their pets first on Home-to-Home so they can transition directly to a new home instead of entering a shelter.
