Indian Rivers Humane Society is an all-volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving animal welfare across King William, Essex, and King & Queen counties in Virginia. Through its dedicated 'All Things Cat' committee, IRHS provides feline foster and adoption services, neonatal kitten care, behavioral guidance, and spay/neuter certificates for companion cats and community feral colonies.

Requirements

Cats and kittens are spayed/neutered and receive age-appropriate vaccinations prior to placement in loving homes.

How it works

Browse available cats and kittens online or meet them at scheduled adoption events. Submit an adoption application online or in person at the thrift store, followed by a conversation with adoption representatives to ensure a great mutual match.
