The King George Animal Rescue League (KGARL) is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of homeless animals in rural King George County and surrounding Virginia communities. They provide adoption, spay/neuter financial assistance, and foster care, housing adoptable cats at the local Petco and providing veterinary care and TNR services for free-roaming community cats.

Cats ready for forever homes are housed at the King George Petco and in volunteer foster homes. KGARL also highlights adoptable shelter cats and partners with King George Animal Control to move cats into adoptive homes and rescue groups.
